The land she came from 家鄉

The land she came from 家鄉

In GHOST CRYSTAL,
Bai Pufei is a sculptor.

She works with the mineral veins of Huiling Mountain,
carving her art from its stone.

That land belongs to her family.
The milky-white Huiling stone is dense, slow to yield—
as if the mountain itself is telling her
not to forget where she came from,
not to forget the land,
and not to forget the bond between them—
a bond that cannot be severed.

With every cut of the blade,
she is shaping more than the stone’s natural grain.
She is refining her understanding of risk, attraction, and choice.

Some people walk the grey zone.
Others choose to stand within the mountain.

It is not an escape.
It is Bai Pufei’s way
of answering life.
